Her song writing skills are amazing as is her voice and her unique country-pop vibe. Hard to believe this dynamic talent is just in her early 20s.
Rihanna Rated R
From country pop princess to hip hop hipster, Rihanna shows a soft, vulnerable side on this album with most of the tracks focused on love gone wrong. Given the turmoil of her personal life of late, this album is perhaps an insight into the real and emotive Rihanna. There are some incredible love ballads based on bad love or sad situations – Stupid In Love, Russian Roulette, are some stand outs and then there are some up tempo moments, with Rude Boy, but in the main this is the CD to wack on when you are questioning what you doing with your love, girlfriend!
