Music: Sex and the City Soundtrack, LL Cool J, The Pussycat Dolls and James Morrison

Sex and the City Movie
Volume 2 Soundtrack

We cannot say we were fans of the music on this disc. A lot of the tracks are R&B, Hip Hop and pop which we didn't like and some of the songs also have a jazzy, blues style, but if you like that sort of music then this CD is a definite buy for you. However, we did like the song "Little Romance" by Ingrid Michaelson. We found ourselves bouncing to the catchy, upbeat tune. Altogether, this album has a happy, feel-good vibe to it so if you're in the mood for "love" as the songs on this album are based, this is a good CD for you.

LL Cool J
Exit 13

LL COOL J really shows off his talent as well as skill of writing catchy songs on this album. You really have to listen to this CD to understand where he is coming from with the lyrics. It's obvious that he has put a lot of effort into this album. I was never really interested in his music until I listened to this album.

The Pussycat Dolls
Doll Domination

The Pussycat Dolls are great entertainers with their appealing clothes and amazing dancing, but their new CD shows a lot more that that. Their singing is getting stronger as they climb the charts. These five outstanding girls give it all they have got. Their music really impressed me and I think they're improving rapidly.

James Morrison
Songs For You, Truths For Me

This style of music is not something I'd typically listen to but admittedly it is great chill-out music. It has a mix of acoustic guitar, piano and a soothing jazz feel. The vocals and lyrics are pretty impressive too. He sounds a bit like Teddy Geiger meets John Mayer. All in all, fairly good.
