First things first… What kind of girls do you go for, Lucas?
Are you talking about looks or are you talking personality here?

We’re talking both…
Cool! Well, let’s start with personality. I like intelligent girls with a lot of common sense. I don’t mind a girl who enjoys things like shopping – but I don’t like a girl who is obsessed with that kind of thing. That’s not my style.

What looks are you into?
As far as looks go, I like brunettes – although that’s not a necessity. I like girls who are a little shorter than me and I like nice teeth, too. I have been leaving that fact out in previous interviews, but I love nice teeth on a girl.

What can a girl do to catch your eye?
Well, the first thing she can do is show some interest in me. A lot of girls think they’ve got to make it a chase, but I don’t think so. I don’t like playing games. I like to know if someone likes me. If I know someone likes me, then I know I can tell them I like them. That’s how it works.

Are you successful when it comes to girls?
Not really. I always used to find myself liking girls who don’t like me. Now, anytime a girl expresses any interest in me, I’m pretty much interested! I’m joking. Not anytime, but I do like it when a girl tells me she likes me.

Where’s the best place to go on a first date?
This depends on the girl. I’ve met girls who I can take to one place and they love it – but you take another girl to the same place and they hate it. That’s a deal breaker!

So how do you decide where to go on a date?
I think about the girl and look into what she likes before deciding where to go. Sometimes it’s nice to go to a concert, but some girls don’t like being in big crowds, so that doesn’t work. If that’s the case, a one-on-one date at a nice restaurant is better.

Were you the popular guy in school?
No. I was never the popular guy in school. That wasn’t my thing at all.

Why not?
Because I was a late bloomer. I never really got girls at school and even when I could get girls, I didn’t know how to deal with them. I started to work out because I felt that life wasn’t going my way – and that’s when girls started to become interested in me.

We’ve got to ask… What’s it like to kiss Miley Cyrus in the new Hannah Montana movie?
It was cool. To be honest, it blew my mind when I first heard that I’d have to kiss her in the movie. I couldn’t believe it.

Is Miley a good kisser?
Yes! Miley is a great kisser.

Did you enjoy the kissing scene?
To be honest, I think it could have been a little juicier – but there were a lot of distractions in that scene. There was the old guy called Jack standing right next to us in the shot and he was screaming something – but it was still cool.

Are kissing scenes embarrassing?
No, not really. At that point, Miley and me were pretty close, so it wasn’t awkward – but at the same time I was really nervous. The good thing about Miley is she makes everything a lot less nervous for you.

Let’s find out some more about you, Lucas… What do you like to do when you’re not working?
I go to the gym a lot. I get a bit bored out here in LA, so the gym is great because I have nothing better to do. I play a lot of video games, too.

What music do you like to listen to?
My favorite band is a German band called Rammstein, but I can listen to anything at the gym – especially if it’s going to pump me up. I guess I like a wide variety of stuff including Dave Matthews, Flogging Molly – and even Mozart.

How else do you like to relax?
The other day I really needed to switch off from work, so I went and rode 4-wheelers in the desert. It was so cool! I just got back to being myself, which was great because I was getting stressed about work.

How long have you lived in LA?
I moved to LA at the end of 2008, but I miss home a lot. Hollywood is great, but there’s nothing like home – especially as far as my social life goes. It’s cool here and I’m meeting more people as I go along. Maybe if I met the right girl it will get even better? I guess we’ll have to see…
