2 Cents: Being the "new girl"

Well, I think the best thing to do in this situation is to ignore them. They probably see you as a threat because you are the “new girl”. Being the new girl at school gets you a certain amount of attention, whether you want it or not. Maybe their attacks directed at you are about them being jealous. The best thing to do is to ignore them. They probably want to get a reaction out of you, and if you react to what they are saying then you’re biting the hook and giving them what they want. If you keep ignoring them, then they will probably realise that what they are doing is stupid and immature and will become bored of it and eventually leave you alone. They certainly don’t sound like the type of girls you want to be friends with anyway, so focus on finding a group that is welcoming, non-judgemental and not bitchy instead of worrying about these girls.
