The Proposal
The Proposal is a hilarious romantic comedy starring Sandra Bullock. Bullock stars as Canadian business woman Margaret Tate who marries her co-worker Andrew Paxton to avoid deportation from America. By the skin of her teeth the pair convince immigration that they are wanting to get married and from there just need to prove that they are a true couple with day to day married bliss! Andrew Paxton is played by funny man and total hotty Ryan Renyolds, who will be sure to entertain you for the full hour and a half that you sit eyes glued to the screen at your next movie adventure!

The Hangover
Ok, without doing it justice by any stretch of the imagination, this movie is the funniest movie of the YEAR, ah screw it make it last 10 years! I’m sure you are sitting there thinking what is this chick on, she serious? What a massive claim? But honestly, it truly is! Don’t want to give too much away but basically the plot revolves around a group of guys who after heading to Vegas (and after an all nighter), wake up to find their posh hotel suite completely trashed, their heads throbbing and worse still their friend who is supposed to be getting married the next day is missing! With zero inkling about what went down the night before or where their mate is, the groom hunt starts!

Bed Time Stories (DVD)
Adam Sandler is hilarious in this cutesy flick about a guy who entertains his niece and nephew with inventive bedtime stories but when those stories suddenly begin to take on a life of their own, he is taken on adventures that literally bring his stories to life. Adam Sandler is always great value and this is a fun flick to be enjoyed by with your kid sister.

Confessions of A Shopaholic (DVD)
This rom-com is very much girl territory – about a girl, Rebecca Bloomfield, who’s looking for labels and looking for love! She gets both, albeit one that comes with a hefty maxed out credit card, a bank manager who could double as a secret service agent in his efforts to track down his wayward non-paying and in debt customer, and of course the obligatory love interest. Isla Fisher, in the lead role, brings life and laughter to the role as the very snappily attired Ms Bloomfield. A definite easy to watch chick flick not to be taken seriously.
