Fast and Furious
The fourth installment of the Fast and the Furious movie series brings all the original cast members together for another hard hit of fast cars, pretty girls, hot guys and loud music.
We follow Michelle Rodriguez, Paul Walker, Jordana Brewster, and of course Vin Diesel, as they join to create destruction and chaos. Amongst the several high pursuit car chases and races, truck hijacking scenes and the un-foiling of well schemed drug plots, the characters become involved in an emotional rollercoaster of love, hate and most importantly, revenge.
Although unfortunately the plot does fall short, overall, there is enough action-packed mayhem and sexy actors and actresses to keep you occupied.
The Boat That Rocked
Based on an outrageously true story, this movie captures the core of the conservative social lives of the 1960’s society on the brink of rebellion.
A bunch of whacky individual characters in the form of DJ’s join together on a boat which is anchored off the coast of Britain where they have been almost outlawed for their love of rock and roll.
Caught in a society where the BBC only rationed out a few hours of rock and roll viewing time a week, the crew takes in upon themselves to offer the listeners a 24hr rock and roll frenzy aboard their boat to the disgust of the BBC, which is still trying to maintain the viewing standards set by its founder, Lord Reith.
If you love a laugh and some good old fashioned rock and roll you will love this movie as it proves that throughout it all rock and roll will prevail.
