19 year-old Taylor Swift is the voice behind chart topping hit Love Story. Loved for her ability to showcase country music within the pop genre, Taylor Swift expresses the events of her life most memorable to her in her honest and totally appealing new album Fearless. Late last month, Kate jumped at the chance to see her live on stage at a private gig and to ask her some questions about life, love and her hot new career.

I was lucky enough to snatch up tickets to Taylor Swifts very special performance at Marrickvilles Factory Theatre. With me was Genna, an avid Bellaboo and Taylor Swift lover who was armed with her camera and the anticipation of actually seeing the teen country singer perform live.

I on the otherhand was a lot more relaxed, I was there for a fun night, to meet new people and the chance to sing along to my favourite track on the music circuit - Love Story. From the moment we walked in the door to the concert hall, I felt I was in the middle of Texas at a local barn dance. So excited about the atmosphere, I bought myself a drink and together, we nestled into the exotic surroundings. There were girls looking too cute in their flannelette shirts and guys- well if cowboy hats didn't do it for me before, they certainly do now.

The lights dimmed as before act (and total hotty) Morgan Evans took the stage with his Kieth Urban cross Rob Thomas like sound. Evans worked up the crowd with his amazing voice, romantic lyrics and rockin guitar solo's. Then after a quick break, it was time for the one girl everybody was waiting for; TAYLOR SWIFT, yelled the MC.

Taylor pounced onto the stage if ready to sing for her life. At the peak of her first song You Belong With Me, she ripped off her baggy black dress to reveal a gold shiny number, her powerful voice was insane and so to went the crowd before her.

Taylor spent the evening dramatically reminiscing about past lusts and love relating to just about every girl in the room. (although I was concerned that she has had her heartbroken so many times for such a young girl) The guys were also cued to yell when Taylor spoke about her fascination with Aussie blokes. "Boys be warned, if I can hold a conversation with you for more than five minutes, I will most probably write a song about you."

The band was lively and totally pumped as they vibed off Taylor. As each song went along, they were clever to re enact the social scenes of the school yard that were so subtly based in the lyrics.

By her 6th song, as a crowd, we had the chance to see just how musical this chick is. She rocked it out on her glitzy gold guitar, sang her lungs out and to our amazment thrashed her head around while pelting it out on the drums for a unbelievable drum solo.

The experience was so intense that I spent the car trip home coaxing myself into believing that this chick was only 19 oh and of course singing and dancing along to our new Taylor Swift Fearless album, in our new Taylor swift T-shirts that we purchased after the show!
