BB's newest recruit Bec is living large with tix to the hottest music festival ever - V Fest. Check out her V Fest VIP experience

So here's the deal. A couple of weeks in as the new girl at BB HQ, I score tix to V Fest. I thought that maybe it was some freakin weird initiation right - you know let's sucker the new girl. So I played cool waiting for them to say gotcha! As the days edged closer I kinda thought this could be the real deal. Then I hyperventilated at the prospect of being roving reporter/photographer at the hottest music fest ever!

With a B pass - that's music vest lingo for photographer's access to some of the stages. I was going to be one of the paps in the pit, taking snaps of some of the coolest acts.

Oh, and did I mention 2 VIP tix? Yup, serious bestie battle on my hands. Who to offer the tix, what to make my pals do to deserve tix, and how to decide. Decisions, decisions!

As the day loomed closer, I got all the docos on where to pick up my pass and the lowdown on the gig.

So, Savanna and Heather, my two absolute besties scored the gig (and without me making them doing anything humiliating or resembling hard labour either! ), and we all bunked at my place to get ready.

If I thought choosing who to gift with the tix was hard that was nothing on all of us CHOOSING WHAT TO WEAR!!!! After about a hundred outfit changes - seriously, we were ready to strut our stuff at the fest. Oh, of course, I made sure I had camera and notepad at hand and had mentally prepared myself for my gruelling photo journalism duties! Ok, Ok, time spent on professional preparation - 10 minutes, time spent on look - 120 minutes!

We piled into my car listening to The Killers cd - see professional preparation! All was well with us badly singing along to our fave tracks when, just as I was about to park, out of nowhere an old lady decides to near side swipe my car. Great! Just what I needed to add to the anxiety of getting there and doing an incredible job. Luckily, no damage, so we hot footed to the fest. We could hear beats playing and as we edged closer they became louder and louder.
