Beauty Bazaar: E. Funkhouser New York and The Body Shop's Sun-Kissed Make-Up Collection

E. Funkhouser Eye Shadow Trio
The E. Funkhouser eye shadow trio will undoubtedly exceed your
expectations. The colours match nicely, blend easily and rarely
crease - the trio I tried, Envision/Revelation/Ambition, were
a perfect combination for beach chic. Wear them dry for a sheer
lustre or wet for stunning, dramatic lids.
E. Funkhouser Blush Duo
Usually the only reason I'd use a crème blush is when I'm going
for a natural, dewy finish; otherwise they're too difficult to
apply. So my question, then, is this: why did Funkhouser make
a crème blush in such odd colours? They're bright and striking
and would be far better in powder form. On the other hand, I used
the coral colour as a lipstick and it did a great job!
E. Funkhouser Eye Liner Duo
Have you ever tried to make a clean, smooth line of colour and
found that your rebellious liquid eye liner was determined to
mess up your plans? Not to worry; these liners are easy to apply
and very well-behaved. They're long lasting yet still easy to
remove with make-up remover. The bright metallic colours are brilliant
for a dramatic look when used separately, but I wouldn't recommend
using them together - you'd probably end up looking like an '80s
drag queen.
E. Funkhouser Lip Line and Shine
The unique combination of separate liner and lip colour in one
package is perfect to pop in your purse and go when you're in
a rush. The shades are well matched and rather than being just
another sheer gloss (if you're like me you already have at least
four!), it is a cross between a liquid lip colour and a gloss,
featuring the tint of the former and sheen of the latter. However,
it dried out my lips and I had to pull my hair out of it every
few minutes. This would be a great product if only it wasn't so
infuriatingly sticky!
E.Funkhouser New York- Bronzing
Powder-Utopia
A def' fave. This is an awesome little accessory to any gal's
handbag. From the metallic pink tint case to the awesome brush
with pink tips, you'll be sure to turn heads the next time you
go to apply it to your Beauty-Licious skin. The brush is mega
cute-BE WARNED it's so light to apply it will become an addiction.
It is also a great shade for winter as it gave my face a Beautiful
Glow. The Neutral yet soft textures of the 5 shimmer combination
palette give you are very relaxed and warm feel. Never leave your
handbag without it.
E.Funkhouser New York Lip Gloss-
Glissdale
This gloss is very cute and suitable for all occasions. It leaves
your lips glistening like a Goddess, however after a few minutes
it did dry my lips. I didn't feel as though I was getting enough
nourishment. I did not let this phase me, so I tried it as a top
coat for my lipsticks and lip balms - it worked a treat. It is
handy to slip in your wallet or purse so you know whenever you
need a touch up it's right at your fingertips.
E.Funkhouser New York Nail Laquer
What an adorable set of nail polish, the colours add Oomph to
any drab day. The shades are radiant and very easy to apply to
your nails, I am wearing Vita on my fingernails and Lucite on
my toe nails as we speak. E Funkhouser stay true to their high
definition designs and take a massive step outside the box with
their modern meets fantasy colours. They come in a set of 4 Lacquers,
ever so cute size and I give it the thumbs (and toes!) up.
The Body Shop Bronzer
The Body Shop's bronzer is perfect for a sexy shimmer not only
on your cheeks, but also your décolletage and shoulders when you
lack that summer radiance. It leaves a natural looking glow, unlike
many bronzers which are desperately obvious. The uber-cute packaging,
pleasant smell and large mirror are definitely the icing on the
cake!
The Body Shop- Sheer Lipstick- Rose
Shimmer
Applause to the NO ANIMAL TESTING. This lippy glided on my lips
so easily, I felt them nourished instantly. The shade was amazing
as it had a hint of Shimmer and sparkle so I could go from Casual
Look to Glamour Puss in an instant. If Wonder Woman was a Lipstick-this
would be it. The Bronzed casing is beautiful and the width of
the Lippy is just right. No one wants clown Lips!. The Lipstick
surprised me as to how long it lasted - food/drink were no contender.
The Body Shop Intense Eyeliner
Gold! Gold! Gold! Honestly can a girl do wrong. The Body Shop
do not disappoint and this product proves it. The fine applicator
makes an easy and no mess way, to sure add that lustre look to
your eyes. You can also have sooo much fun with this Prod - go
rebellious and stand out in the crowd! I used it to tip and streak
my lashes, it only takes a matter of seconds. This shade was incredible
and lasted the night away. I also loved how easy it was to wash
up-with no streaks! It is totally nifty and really does prove
great things come in small packages.
The Body Shop Bronzing Blush
This two in one wonder is perfect for a simple beauty routine.
With one application it is stress free and leaves a hint of shimmer
on your already radiant cheeks. This blush looks cute and will
make a great accessory in your handbag.
The Body Shop Eye Lustre Pearls
The eyeshadow pearls are an innovative feature to the Bodyshop
Sun Lustre collection. Using the brush with a gentle sweeping
action over the pearls you can gain a balanced and radiant look
with an easy application. Oh and I did I mention the silver/blue
colour is stunning?
The Body Shop Brush
This is a great applicator. It's decent size allows you to apply
a numerous amount of products. The soft bristles do not irriate
the skin. It is totally glamorous.
