Has a guy every given you "mixed" signals? Or has the male race seemed more like an alien race to you at times? Well, He's Just Not That Into You is the movie that every girl must see!
This film explores three primary relationships and their different issues, but focuses mostly on Gigi and Alex. Gigi is a normal girl just trying to find the love of her life. But the problem is she doesn't have BAD luck with men she has NO luck until she meets Alex, a bartender, who gives her the lowdown on the male species.
Throughout the movie realistic issues are explored and come to light, but with that said, it is a chick-flick ladies, so be sure to bring your best girlfriends along with you!
All in all, this film mixes drama with ironic humor, complimenting each other to target and entertain most female audiences. Plus with an all star cast it is sure to be a hit!

With an all star cast including Jessica Biel and Colin Firth, I had really high expectations for this movie. Not knowing much about the Australian director Stephan Elliot, I was expecting exactly what the synopsis and previous reviews read- romantic comedy, set in the 1920's, totally glamour filled and, most importantly, a relationship scandal.
Within the first 10 minutes viewing, I was half expecting the characters to break out into song due to the over-dramatic style… and then they did. That prompted a laugh out loud moment, followed by a "how the hell am I going to sit through the rest of this" moment.
So I settled in to give it a go. After the first 40 minutes I came to appreciate this somewhat eccentric flick and its insight into the roaring '20s.
Jessica Biel plays the lead character - an independent race car driver who falls in love with a young English boy. They get married and he takes her home to meet his family. Whilst the obnoxious and uptight attitude from the mother-in-law is usually expected, this was really something else. The plot sees scandal, untold secrets and comedy mixed throughout the serious conservative nature of the time it is reflecting. Sure there are moments where you couldn't help but laugh at loud and the ending, well not to give it away, is exactly what I wanted to see happen, Whilst a bit slow to get into, well worth a look, especially if you are into old world romance.
