The Notebook
What is not to love about The Notebook. Set in the late 1940's the film thrives on the romance of its decade. The characters are sweet, polite and totally dramatic which will be sure to play on your emotions. For those of you who have not yet experienced heart-break, watching this film will be sure to give you the anxiety, empathy and eventual satisfaction that the characters feel throughout the movie.
It is one movie that I love to turn on when I'm feeling down or in desperate need of inspiration. After watching The Notebook, you will find it hard to float back down to reality. With the premise, love lasts forever you will be sure to rekindle your curiosity in love, life and romantic movies.

P.S I love you
Oh bring on the tissues please! P.S I love you is a film about Holly Kennedy, an awkward yet totally beautiful chick who is married to the love of her life - a passionate, funny, and charming Irishman named Gerry. Gerry dies from cancer and leaves holly a sense of closure behind.
As the audience, you are taken on the journey with Holly as she receives letters of request, laughs and love until she finally finds happiness within her life. Gerard Butler (Gerry) will be sure to have you swooning...like seriously to the point of contemplating a trip to Ireland…sad yes, but so true…All in all, this movie will make you laugh, cry and appreciate the life that you have… its not always about wanting more.

Based around two main characters Amanda (Cameron Diaz) and Iris (Kate Winslet), this movie is set in both England and America and begins with the break up (or broken heart) of both these characters. After both of them have there hearts broken, Amanda starts looking at a home exchange program and they connect with each other. In an instant it is been decided that they will swap houses over the holiday period. What they don't know is that through the house exchange they will experience laughter, happiness and sadness. They will have their hearts broken only to have them fixed and in the end they both find what they were looking for when they meet the love of their lives.

Titanic
One wouldn't think that one of the greatest disasters in history would make a great setting for a love story, but it does. Titanic is a movie about two things, the ship itself and how it sunk on its maiden voyage and the other is the love story circling around Jack (played by Leonardo Dicaprio) and Rose (Played by Kate Winslet). Jack is a sweet but penniless artist who won his ticket on the Titanic through a card game and Rose is an established woman who is being forced into marrying a man that she doesn't love. They meet when Rose doesn't think she can live anymore and tries to jump off the back of the ship, Jack see's her and convinces her not to, saving her life (ohhhh). The relationship grows throughout the movie with them both knowing that no-one will accept there love for each other because they are both from two different socio-economic backgrounds. But in the end that doesn't matter as jack saves Rose again only to loose his own life.
