Style Bytes: The Top 5 Scarves
Winter is well and truly here and it's freezing. Not one to suffer for her fashion and get around in skimpy skirts and tops whilst temperatures are dropping faster than Nicole Richie's weight, my fashion commandment for these cool months is all about layers and warmth. By Ash
Scarves are my best friend during these cooler months. They are my fetish and my passion. They are by far the most basic winter accessory and yet so stylish. Light, soft and warm - nothing beats a scarf around your neck when it's as arctic as the relationship between Ms Aniston and Ms Jolie, outdoors. My personal faves at the moment are tartan scarves - I am obsessed by them. In fact, I have just completed the purchase of another one off ebay! My next faves are Mimco scarves - so classy, warm and girly. Especially love the blingy ones with silver and gold through them. Perfectly matched to glittery tights that are very in this winter. Here's my selection of some must-have scarves.

Multi-coloured
A scarf with a kaleidoscope of colours means it will go with pretty much with anything and everything in your wardrobe. You can't go wrong with a scarf of many colours.
Just Jeans Technicolour, $24.95

Striped
Horizontal stripes are a great look and very in vogue right now. A striped scarf is a cheap way to get into the fashion moment. Fling this baby around your neck and you are steppin' out in high fashion style! Just don't recommend teaming striped scarf with striped clothing. Works best against block colours.
Just Jeans Vespa Stripe Scarf, $24.95

Bright
Add some sunshine to those wintery days with a bright scarf. A splash of colour can lift a look. We love this hot pink number!
Just Jeans Crazy Surf Scarf, $29.95

Dotty
This dotty scarf adds fun to any look.
Zimmerman Scarf, $85

Fringe
A cute little detail like a fringed end adds a bit of schooz to a scarf. Loving this little fringe effect and the colour combo of creams and browns.
Just Jeans Winter Knit Stripe, $29.95
