What's it all about?

OK boos, we hear you loud and clear - you don't exactly have a swag of great role models to tap into (35% of teens surveyed said so), you think role models are important (91% said so), yet don't think there's enough being done to provide you with good role models (90% said so).

They were the results of our online poll on role models. Plus there was some scary stuff to come out of it, too. Like, that girls like Mischa Barton (drink driving offence), Kate Moss (rehab, Pete Doherty, do we need to go on?), and Paris Hilton (jailbird) rated on your radar as potential role models. What the????

So, we at BB HQ have made it our mission to Get Real About Role Models and much more in this space. In this section of the site, expect to see a whole heap of stuff to inspire, inform and redefine.

We aim to inspire you with girls from all walks of life who truly deserve the role model tag. We aim to inform you about what real beauty is all about and real self worth. We hope to redefine your idea of role models, your own self-esteem and self worth and we just hope that we can help girls Get Real!
