everyone has different skin so we all need different products no i havnt has that problem but maybe bellaboo isnt strong enough for you and maybe you should try a new brand but this isnt always the case.
hi, how are you using Bellaboo? Are you using the cleanser twice a day, exfoliator 2-3 times per week, e z blitz after cleaning twice a day followed by moisture dew twice a day? It makes a big difference using the system and properly as the e z blitz and moisture dew are designed to interact and work together to blitz zits. Majority of feedback we get is really amazing - in that girls notice a difference in their skin in just 2-3 days but, meowie, is right everyone's skin is different. I would strongly suggest using it as I've outlined if you haven't already and see how your skin goes. I would be against proactive because it uses really high strength of benzoyl peroxide - see our article on this in our beauty archives for both long and short term side effects of this. hope that helps
Proactive may work as the benzoyl peroxide bleaches the skin and pimples may be less visible, however the strength of BP is high as the warnings on the product says it can bleach pillows.
Also many people have said that after they stopped using Proactive, their pimples returned; so its a dependent product. Plus it's not cheap.
Bellaboo offers more gentler and natural approach which is food for your skin!
However its your skin, its up to you, so not every product may work for you. You just have to keep trying until you find something thats suitable! Good luck!
hi..id just like to say that i got given the full pro active kit..and it ruined my skin..not only did it burn like crazy after a week but i broke out in the biggest pimples i had ever seen..i went from a pimple here and there to rocking up at work and people saying OMG what happened to ur face..it really ruined my skin so becareful!! im gunna try save up and buy the bella kit as i remember ages ago i got a sample and it was soft on my skin..soo see how i go :)
good luck
also if ur using makeup buy a non comedeogenic one like almay..it doesnt clog ur pores..its helped me a lil but...but still need to find a good cleansing system
I love Bellaboo products - not only because of the super cute packaging but because they contain all natural ingriedents - which is fab for young skin - and I've had acne in my teens and the last thing you want to do is put chemicals onto your skin and irritate it even further.
If you aren't getting the results you want you really need to look at other factors contributing to your skin such as lifestyle factors.
Do you excersise daily or a few times a week - sweat is actually anti bacterial believe it or not and is good for the skin as it gets the blood pumping around the body I always feel my skin texture is alot smoother after a huge walk around the block - doesn't have to be strenous!
Make sure you drink heaps of water and eat loads of vegetables especially the dark leafy types like baby spinach and rocket - sweet potato is nuturing to the skin and protiens such as oats, lentils, nuts and free range eggs - keep your diet interesting so you don't get bored.
I love keep frozen bananas in the freezer and putting a popsicle stick in them and they are like little icecreams but good for you which is always fun!
You might also consider taking a zinc suppliment as that aids in skin problems such as acne.
Just keep things as natural as possible, avoid processed foods, use natural gentle simple skin care, drink heaps of water and excersise when you can - oh and relax - relaxation time is key!
:)
