No Such Thing As Perfect
Bellaboo came across photographer M Seth Jones expose of before and after photoshop shots. No, Mr Jones did not put these up on his site as a service to promoting positive self esteem but as a demonstration of the type of perfect he hopes to achieve post photo. In his words on why photoshop: "This ensures that every element sits harmoniously within the final frame, enabling that ideal state to be presented to the viewer with little-to-no visual distractions."

Every gorgeous, flawless face, when you roll over it with your mouse is then shown in its pre-photoshop status. And, they are all still beautiful....just not picture perfect flawless. Remember too that those pre-photoshop shots still feature a makeup artist, hair stylist, lighting, photography tricks...and their skin after all that still looks like yours!
I know how these images can mess with your head..making you feel that you are less than perfect and how on earth do you get skin like that????? Well, Seth is offering online photoshopping lessons so if you want to achieve that magazine perfect look, get yourself some photoshopping skills cos it's the only way humanly possible to look the way girls do in the media.
Share this link with every girl you know.....let us all brainwash ourselves into realizing media images are fake. They are not even close to resembling real body shapes or real skin. The more we remind myself hopefully the more we will hear the message...I am perfect as I am as I know that the media is fake and I'm not! Better that than beating ourselves to not living up to a perfection that can only be achieved via the power of technology!
