Monique Coleman Coming To Oz

Our gorgeous girl, Monique Coleman, best known to all our boos as Taylor McCessie in High School Musical has certainly graduated and moved on from High School Musical! Not only has she launched her own and very cool online TV chat show, www.gimmemo.com, but she also been appointed by the United Nations to be its Champion for Youth, in this year of the International Year of Youth. So, what exactly does that mean, you ask? Weeeeellll, her role is to promote the year and get the stuff that affects you guys talked about and, hopefully, kick the powers that be into action to change things so the world is a better place for young people.

We are super excited that she is headed to Oz, in early Feb, and will be visiting schools, to talk about the stuff that affects young people here - body image, self esteem, bullying. Monique told Bellaboo that she can't wait to get here and meet as many of you as she can and she wants to champion your causes! So, we're calling on you to post on here the stuff that affects you right now that you want Monique to talk about. Oh, and if you want her to visit your school, start posting, tweeting, facebooking a campaign to get her there. We'll be checking in and taking note of the buzz around the schools most mentioned.
