Make the Change By Joining the Party

For those of you know who know Bellaboo and visit regularly you know we are all about getting real about beauty and helping to promote positive self esteem. It is something we are not only passionate about, but a bit obsessive and totally committed to. So much so we’ve started our own movement…Make The Change…One Girl At A Time.

First step was the launch of our dedicated section here on the site, all about Making The Change. We kinda figure that as our boos live their lives online, our own site was a good place to start. Now we’re ready to take it up a step…well big step!

Bellaboo is hosting a twitter party. Nov 28 @ 8pm if you’re in the US or Nov 29 @ noon if you’re in Oz. The idea is that we want to get as many girls and their mothers along to join the chat and the movement. And, we are super excited to have as our special guest, the uber talented actress and now youth crusader, Monique Coleman!

We wanna hear from you about what impacts your self esteem. We’ll share with you our Make The Change mission, give you some insight into skin care and how it affects self esteem.

The inspiring Monique Coleman is best known for her lead role in High School Musical and Dancing with the Stars and has just launched her own online chat show that is all about having a positive impact on young people. She’s just been announced a United Nations Youth Champion and is starting a world tour to meet with young people. Here’s your chance to chat to her before her tour kicks off and hear how she herself has dealt with low self esteem.

This will be first of many more Make the Change events both online and out there in your world! Our goal is to get as many girls as we can to join our movement so we can start to see change around real beauty and self esteem. If you guys get behind us, it will allow us to do so much more and, like any movement, as we grow it will become more powerful and we will make the change!!! I hope!!!
