Will "The Hills" last without LC?

Lauren Conrad has been the face and voice behind MTV hit show "The Hills" ever since she made the switch from home town and previous show "Laguna Beach!" Over the past five seasons we have watched her make-up and break up friend-ships, go from boyfriend to boyfriend putting her poor kind heart in jeopardy time and time again and we have even seen her career blossom from uber cool intern at Teen Vogue to stylist at a Chic Hollywood hills PR agency.

The balance between triumph and tantrum over previous seasons has never been short of entertaining for millions of viewers watching world wide. The heat between Lauren and Speidi kept the drama boiling for endless episodes. Between Laurens ultimatum to heidi to end it with her (then) new crush and Spencers rumour mill boasting news of LC's infamous "sex tape", fans upon fans have tuned in, making the show number one in teen land!

As the weeks end near for LC and her life on "The Hills", I cant help but wonder how the show will go on. Sure the recent Speidi wedding will keep fans going for a couple of episodes, but lets call a spade a spade- how much of Spencer Pratt can a person take?

With Kristin Cavallari making her way back onto the scene, the question is, will the show survive with second rate characters? Can the once "subplot" personalities of the show carry it on in true Hills style or will it crash and burn once LC rolls of the camera for good?
