I think Big Brother had its low points but at the same time was not at all distasteful. I watched the show frequently and found that if you took the time to sit down and watch it, it was quite good.
Its time to go....Big Brother!!!

Hooray!
At the end of it's eighth season Channel 10 exec's finally say its time to go Big Brother!
A decision made last Monday and kept a secret over the weekend, programmers of channel 10 openly admit that not even Kyle Sandilands and Jackie O as well as celebs Pamela Anderson, Carson Kressley and local boy Corey Worthington can save the show.
With a decrease in ratings by more than 1.8 million viewers since 2001, next Mondays season finale will be the shows last ever episode!
Nationally the show has had the lowest ratings ever in the 7pm timeslot, running fourth behind the ABC news.
The cutting of the controversial series has also been predicted to relieve the network of almost 30 million dollars in production costs that will now be used for local drama series targeting a larger audience.
While at Bellaboo HQ we are quite happy to see this distasteful series go, what do you think?
Is this a blessing in disguise or a national television tragedy?

She was holding dresses up in front of a mirror to decide if she wanted them, and she was actually pretty short... I'm 5ft 2 and she was only a bit taller than me, and was wearing really high heels.
The only year I ever watched Big Brother was a few years back when Vesna and Tim Brunero were on it; tried to watch it the year after and it just seemed to be full of revolting types working with one brain cell between them. So, I'm not sad to see it go :)
