I’m sure you have all herd of Corey Worthington. The Victorian party boy (sporting those ridiculous fluro glasses) turned media experiment! - Well he is in strife once again with the cops!
Last night on the gold coast, after being released from the Big Brother house on Sunday night, he was caught by bouncers and police at a Gold-coast night club, attempting to enter with a fake I-D. He was issued an on the spot, $225 fine.
Keeping in mind that this event follows the notorious un-supervised party, Worthington then 16, held in his Victorian home whilst his parents were on holidays.
Through his on-going attention and public portrayal in the national and international media as an out of control teen, Worthington scored himself not only his temporary role on Big Brother but a publicity deal with renowned and major celeb agency Max Markson, worth up to $200,000.
So what’s the deal? How is it that a teen with what seems so much disrespect, destructive nature and the idea of openly flouting the law has become so famous and so rewarded?
Where is the fairness in idolising a teen that falls so short of being a role model?
And..
Why is it that the media play on the idea of giving this teen that ability to set an example for all of you out there who work hard to do the right thing?
