Gone but never forgotten.

Hey babes,
I was talking to my long distant friend today, and she was telling me the awful events that recently occured in her area, due to bullying.

"My friend Eira comment suicide last night because of bullying. She was a truly amazing individual. She was always smiling, and laughing, and putting others before her. It was such a shock to the town when it was heard that she hung herself. Nobody knew what she was going through, she kept it all to herself. I wish she would have told somebody. I don't understand why people think they are so important that they can go around making others feel so worthless, that they don't belong in the world anymore. Bullies are cowards who are insecure about themselves, so they bring everyone else down to their level. She didn't deserve this. She had so much potential. She was a beautiful and remarkable young girl. She was an A+ student and made high honor roll every marking period.. she had so much going for her. But that all ended last night. I'll never fully understand why people bully others, but it needs to end. Rest in peace Eira. We all love you

She's gone but never forgotten."

Bullying can happen anywhere: in person, or online. It is not limited by age, gender, or education level. It is not a joke. Bullying can be devastating.. bullying IS devastating. Bullying needs to be put to an end.

So thank you Sam, for sharing your story.

Happy Wednesday, and just know that someone will ALWAYS be there for you.
