People may think that it’s lame but I LOVE celebrating Friend-aversaries, otherwise known as the anniversary of the day you and a friend met. I think it’s something worth celebrating because it means a friend has stuck by you for that long. As we all know, every year comes with its own set of trials and challenges along with its own rewards and treasures. Because you are able to celebrate friend-aversaries, it means you have a friend who is truly there for you. This person has stuck with you through the bad times as well as the good.

I have had a never ending struggle with my hair for as long as I can remember. It grows super extremely slow( which is beneficial on my highlight upkeep), but very frustrating nonetheless. I have tried every vitamin supplement, brushing, combing, and pill combination out there, to no avail.

2012 Goals

After trying to think of a topic for today's blog post, I finally decided to write about my goals for 2012. I believe that you can set yourself goals at any time of the year, not just January. And hey, goals can be pretty hard to stick to, so sometimes you have to set several throughout the year! As 2011 came to an end, I sat down and thought about the year I had. I thought of what went well, what didn't work out so great and things that I could improve on. I finally had a list of goals that I'm determined to stick to and achieve throughout this year.

Have you ever had a friend that puts you down or makes you feel stupid in front of a group? I like to refer to them as friend-bullies. They do the same thing that bullies do but since we’re friends with them and close to them, we don’t realize it as much. It’s important that you don’t let these people put you down and make you feel bad. They are supposed to be your friend and should help bring you up, not tear you down.
